Boro's second string slipped to another defeat in this Sygnus Capital League fixture when they were defeated 5-1 at Earlsmead by a youthful Havant & Waterlooville side.

Boro' gave gave run outs to long term injury victims, Adam Everitt and Kevin McKenna in a side which included a number of triallists.

Despite having an equal share of the play Boro' conceded goals at regular intervals against a lively Havant side which included 8 16 year olds in their squad. All the goals came from different players - Willy Martin, Jamie Proctor, Steve Harding, Steve Boston and Craig Leworthy. Boro's solitary reply come from the penalty spot after Fabio Valenti was adjudged to have been fouled in the box - Jimmie Berry converting for his first goal for the club.

Overall a poor performance by Boro's second string.
