An exciting match played on an excellent playing surface with the ball moving rapidly from end to end. Although the result of 0-0 there could have been numerous goals at both ends with both 'keepers and defences being on top form.

Boro' introduced triallists in Osa Odeh (ex Kings Lynn), Robbie Rix (son of Graham) and Ben Cain (ex St Albans). Also Academy youngsters Ben Lampert and particularly Chris Henry played a major part.

The result was probably a fair reflection, but it was certainly a game Boro' could have won
