| Manager David Howell, reflecting on yesterday's draw said, "We are learning lessons every week and we have fallen foul in the last two matches, in Staines' Craig Maskell and Chelmsford's Andy Douglas, to seasoned players with that all important experience. With a squad, the majority of which is aged under 23, it's important that we gain knowledge and experience as a team quickly and then everyone will notice an improvement in our consistency and performances. "In the only matches where we have been in front, on both occasions we have failed to score that all important second goal, at Eastleigh and against Chelmsford to enable the team to gain confidence and release the pressure that go with a slim lead and missed chances. "There's some challenging games coming up. The team are disappointed with our second half display and the next match can't come quick enough for them." |
