We received the sad news that our Club President Jim Ripley passed away over the Easter weekend. This followed shortly after the death of Jim’s wife, Ellen a month earlier. We understand that the family hope to fly Jim back to England, with a memorial service to be held on a date to be advised. Our sincere condolences to Paul Ripley and all the Ripley family.
We had already intended having a minute’s silence before the match on Tuesday for David Howell’s mother who passed away on Sunday last and we will now be remembering both Mrs Howell and Jim & Ellen Ripley. |
